It is an incredible wood with amazing color contrast. If a guitar is purchased on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday it will be shipped on Tuesday. This special variety has inky black variegations flowing through pale milky white. We are closed Sunday and Monday but will respond by Tuesday. Tonally, this is a powerhouse! It is a great all around guitar, but we find that playing it fingerstyle really lets the overtones and uniqueness of this instrument shine best. A full fretboard inlay delete finishes of the design giving it a sleek and tasteful appearance. We opted to use the same moon ebony for the headstock veneer (with a very classy ebony logo) and bloodwood for the binding and rosette. Adirondack spruce tops one of the most beautiful moon ebony back and side sets we have seen. Our selection is small because we only buy high-end grades. This amazing guitar is a medium jumbo but with a shallow body to tighten up the tone a bit.
